A new venue and a new date and time gave us much to do. But all worked out for the best and we are so pleased to have found a site which suits us so well. We had plenty of room for all the quilts to be displayed without crowding. We were able to have two craft rooms and more room for the vendors and bake sale than expected. Next year we may take over the second hall and invite additional vendors.
Here are the visitor favorites:
First Place was won by Janeen Conway.
Second Place was taken by Kay Ross.
Third Place was given to Barbara Burke.
The beautiful donation quilt raffle winner was Conni Puckett visiting from Tennessee.
We had a display of our Quilts for Heroes. These will be shipped to the USO in Germany before the holidays. We have already sent 50 quilts to our wounded soldiers overseas. We are sorry to see Donna Sharpe, who has been the driving force behind this project move up north and leave the guild.
See you next year!
